Entry requirements

Applications for this course must have: A minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in a relevant discipline, or A minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree in an unrelated discipline and significant relevant work experience within the built environment, or A recognised appropriate professional qualification such as RICS or CIOB. Suitable For: This course is suitable for working professionals from the building and engineering sectors. Students come from a broad range of associated backgrounds, including: contract management, operations, estimating and commercial management, policy-making, project direction and specialist construction management.

Course Summary

If you’re looking to progress your career in construction management, or you want to find employment in the sector in the UK, this course is designed with you in mind. During your time with us, you’ll learn how to successfully organise and plan complex construction projects, diagnose corporate problems, and manage project teams, procurement, finance and risk. The programme of study is mapped to Construction Management NVQ level 5 and will support your application for the CSCS black card – the industry-standard for all construction managers in the UK.

International students must provide evidence of proficiency in English - IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5 or an equivalent qualification are proof of this.
