Applicants must have either a Bachelors Degree (with Honours) in a Built and Human Environment related field or a Masters Degree (or equivalent) in a related subject. Other applications will be considered on its merits. Overseas students whose mother tongue is not English may be asked to satisfy the English language requirement.

Focus of research is information and management systems in property and construction. Compulsory participation in centre's Research Workshop Programme with workshops being held 4 times a year culminating in postgraduate conference each November. The programme includes topics on research methods, literature surveys, write-up techniques etc.
