A 2:1 honours degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related subject.

f you have a qualification in another science/engineering subject, such as maths or physics, or you have relevant professional experience, we’ll also consider your application.

Accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Enhance your knowledge of aerospace systems and structures with a range of advanced level modules that address key issues faced by engineers in the aerospace and power generation sectors. This course combines fundamental engineering knowledge with the latest developments in technology. It also offers the opportunity to work on an individual research project, giving you research experience and helping you to prepare for a career in industry or further research.

This course meets, in part, the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer status. Our MSc graduates who also have an accredited BEng (Hons) will be able to show they have met all the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
