About the course

Increase your understanding of globalisation – one of the most important challenges currently facing nation states. You’ll focus on issues like financial instability, poverty and famine, war and insecurity, the rise of new economic world powers, climate change, and human trafficking and immigration.

Careers

Our graduates work for government and other public sector organisations, private sector companies, consultancies and think-tanks. They are directors, private secretaries, managers, political advisers, barristers, parliamentary clerks, senior civil servants and administrators.

The Political Economy of Globalisation; The Politics of Development; Dissertation in Globalisation and Development.

Optional modules include

The Political Economy of Globalisation; The Politics of International Law; Contemporary Ethnic Conflict; Europeanisation; The Politics of Global Migration; Contemporary Global Security.

Information for international students

Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, 6.5 in Writing, 5.5 in Listening and 5.5 in Speaking, or equivalent.
