Course content

The aim of this course is to produce graduates who will be able to assume roles of directional responsibility inside companies, in staff functions, as well as in line management. We produce students with the ability to start independent entrepreneurial activity, including the execution of consulting (accounting and company) and adopting roles of responsibility in institutional organisms (Chamber of Commerce, Associations of category, Local bodies, international organisations).

The course offers training to develop highly skilled management professionals, able to take effective action in a dynamic global environment.

Particular attention is devoted to the recent evolution and major changes of the firms' operating environment in order to provide students with adequate competencies related to the government, managerial, and organizational processes in different types of firms, operating in diverse businesses (public and private sectors) at both the national and international level.

The in-class experience includes simulations of management decision-making processes, broad interaction between the faculty and the students, personal communication and presentation skills enhancement, and team-working.

Disciplinary areas are articulated as follows:

  • Business studies;
  • Economics;
  • Law;
  • Statistical Mathematics.

This program aims to provide students with an understanding of the main theoretical and applied concepts in accounting and management at an advanced level. The course offers training to develop highly skilled management professionals, able to take effective action in a dynamic global environment.

The annual fee is divided into three installments, as follows:

  • 1st instalment: fixed rate based on the type of degree course (humanities, science, EU regulated).
  • 2nd instalment: calculated based on income.
  • 3rd instalment: calculated based on merit.

The fee can also vary in the presence of any applicable benefits or exemptions.


Students enrolling at the University of Siena can apply for a DSU (Regional Body for the Right of University Studies) scholarship. The
application is open until September/October of each year.

Scholarship assignees will receive a sum of money (covering University fees) and have free access to University canteens and free accommodation at halls of residence, if admitted. Should such accommodation not be available, assignees will be given a rent contribution, if requested.
