Entry requirements

120 credits at Level 6. Applicants must be registered with an appropriate professional organisation and have relevant experience in caring for older people. Knowledge of life science and research is desirable. Applicants can also be considered on individual merit.

Course content

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to expand their knowledge, skills and expertise in this field, or for individuals with an interest in the issues surrounding caring for older people.

The course philosophy ensures that care is evidence-based and promotes autonomy and independence of the older person.
