The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Professional Diploma is awarded to those who successfully meet the requirements of the Diploma or Advanced Diploma stages. The Diploma is the first stage. Once this has been awarded, you can proceed to the Advanced Diploma and then the Professional Diploma. This ladder of qualification leads to Corporate Membership of the CIPS, namely MCIPS. This is regarded by most businesses and organisations as the gold standard route to MCIPS, because of its practical learning element.
The University of South Wales is a long-established Centre of Excellence for delivering the CIPS Professional Diploma and is well-regarded locally for the open programme and the specific public sector route, delivered in conjunction with Value Wales. The University also works in partnership with procurement professionals and has established the Procurement Best Practice Academy to identify, develop and disseminate best practice in procurement and supply chain management. For you, this means you will be taught by staff who are at the forefront of their subject area. Please note: If you are interested in studying this Diploma, please apply via our Commercial Services website.
