Entry requirements

A minimum 2:2 Honours degree or equivalent in a computing subject. Candidates should also have very good IT skills. The course welcomes international applicants and requires an English level of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

Course content

As the number of sophisticated cyber attacks increases across the world, so does the demand for graduates with the necessary skills and expertise to fight security threats and digital incursion.

This Masters degree will equip you with the latest knowledge and understanding of the threats associated with the use of technology in business and how best to deal with them.

You will cover the technical and management/governance areas required to operate in the cyber security profession, allowing you to develop a range of key transferable skills valued by employers in the public and private sectors. You will be taught by staff who are at the forefront of their subject area.
