Course content

The MSc International Business and Enterprise course brings together the internationalisation of business and the importance of enterprise to examine the theory and practice of international business, including how exports, franchises and foreign direct investment (FDI) are analysed and developed.

Through a diverse range of modules, and a field trip to a major European city, you will be exposed to all areas of business. You will explore the effects of culture and climate, and develop an understanding of the market environment that will aid the creation of business ventures. You will examine local-global interactions in a range of areas, including the local embedding of multinational corporations and global supply chains. You will also study the nature of the global environment, the complex and unpredictable variables that exist and how these can be analysed.
