Course contentNVQ's in Learning & Development are based on the national occupational standards developed by the Employment NTO, the government approved body for the learning and development sector. These standards describe the level and breadth of performance that is expected of anyone working in this sector.
The learning and development qualifications are work oriented and are suitable for those who have real work experience and are able to demonstrate their competence (the skills, knowledge and understanding they have) against the particular standards.
NVQ Level 3 Learning and Development
The NVQ 3 in Learning & Development is for someone who is able to show competence in identifying individual learning aims and programs, reviewing learning programs and creating a climate that promotes learning.
NVQ Level 4 Learning and Development
The Level 4 in Learning and Development focuses on the design, agreement, evaluation and improvement of learning and development programmes. It includes managing the contribution of others tot he process and ensuring the creation of an environment conducive to learning.
NVQ Level 5 Learning and Development
NVQ 5 Learning and Development is for someone who is able contribute to the learning strategies and processes of the organisation, develop a plan for learning and development and be able to review how capable the organisation is of meeting its development needs.
