Entry requirements

Applicants should have an accredited BEng honours degree and be in relevant employment. Suitable applicants will then be invited for interview. Applicants who are IEng accredited or have completed an academic review by a professional body may also be considered.

Course content

This innovative and flexible part-time course allows you to gain a Masters qualification and progress towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through activities undertaken in the workplace. The course meets the academic requirements of CEng status and is available to those currently in employment who are seeking to progress.

With a strong emphasis on work-based learning, the course provides working professionals who cannot commit to full-time study, the opportunity to gain a professional qualification. As the course is delivered in this way, the content is directly relevant to you and your employer. You will also have access to all the facilities and services available at the University.
