Course content

In a world dominated by visual imagery, artists need the appropriate skills, reflexive approaches and attitudes of critical enquiry to work as effective professionals within their field.

The MA Arts Practice Fine Art degree offers you the opportunity to explore your own specialism of fine art practice, and develop your practice across a broader range of interdisciplinary activity.

You will study over a number of designated weekend sessions, held at approximately monthly intervals at our Cardiff campus, allowing you to study alongside other personal and work commitments you may have.

Weekends will include lectures, guest speakers, workshops, tutorials, field trips and visits; your study will be further supported via on-line tutorials. This blended approach to teaching will enable you to develop as an independent, enterprising artist.
