Course content
This programme is run by a consortium of three UK universities (mtec@work), recognised for their excellence in marine technology education and research: Newcastle, Southampton, and University College London. It aims to meet the needs of graduates and their employers; all students are usually in full-time, marine-sectored employment. Teaching is delivered through a combination of distance learning and one-week intensive schools, with pre-school preparation and post-school assignments.
Information for international students
All applicants must demonstrate they possess at least a minimum standard of English language proficiency:
Band B, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
