Course content
This programme is designed around the needs of experienced nurse, midwife or allied healthcare practitioners looking to further develop practice and/or prepare for clinical practice roles at a senior level. It will enable you to strengthen your existing knowledge, skills and competencies while also preparing you for roles that require greater autonomy, responsibility and more complex clinical decision-making.The programme is underpinned by the Department of Health (2010) position statement on advanced-level practice, and other relevant national and international advanced/specialist practice standards and guidance documents.
