Dreamt of becoming a nurse and already hold a degree? This accelerated programme will provide you with the expertise to deliver outstanding healthcare to children, young people and their families across a variety of health needs and settings. The course is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), with whom you will be eligible to register.
The programme represents a rigorous combination of theoretical work in the classroom and practical experience in clinical and community settings. The main emphasis is on developing the higher-level skills of critical thinking, reasoning and analysis. You will also become experienced at making complex decisions, evaluating practice, coordinating care and acting as an advocate for service users.
This programme represents two-thirds of a masters degree. The outstanding third may be taken in future through a top-up course
