Course content
Research into early human development and stem cell biology is pivotal for the development of stem cell therapies for regenerative medicine. Our MRes in Stem Cells, Development and Regenerative Medicine offers exciting opportunities to develop the advanced scientific, research and transferable skills you need to become an independent researcher. You will be supervised by our internationally recognised academics who are pioneering research in their relevant fields and are passionate about teaching the next generation of translational scientists. You will work within our vibrant and thriving interdisciplinary research community that harnesses the translational strength of the University. The outstanding clinical infrastructure and enterprise facilitate the translation of our pioneering developmental and stem cell science for patient benefit. You will develop a broad range of laboratory skills and experience working in different research environments. You will also develop transferable skills including time and project management, public speaking, critical appraisal and scientific writing, thus aiding employability for a variety of careers.
