Course content

EMECS is a two-year programme run with Kaiserslautern University and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology at Trondheim. Students benefit from the University of Southampton’s expertise in system-on-chip and electronics, Trondheim’s knowledge of electronics and communications and Kaiserslautern’s strong track record in embedded systems.

EMECS covers the fundamentals of embedded computing systems and offers an equivalent education in the three institutions. The elective part of the programme reflects the profiles of the participating partner universities. You will also write a masters thesis.
