Entry requirements

A UK bachelor's degree with upper second-class honours or higher and masters degree with at least 60 per cent or Merit, or an equivalent standard in other qualifications approved by the University in a relevant subject (Individual merits may be taken into account, depending on experience and other factors); a high quality research proposal; at least two recent academic references; satisfactory language requirements for non-UK students.

English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in each of the four components: reading, writing, listening and speaking. For information on other accepted English language tests, please see the website.

Course content

We will consider applications for our PhD to undertake research in any area of: accounting, financial markets and banking, entrepreneurship, innovation, strategy, corporate social responsibility, accountability and governance, human resources, organisational behaviour, information technology/systems, management science, operational research, supply chain management, risk, marketing and health management.
