Most advanced modules have prerequisites. Those taking modules for professional development (with or without CATS points) do not necessarily need to have taken the specified modules, but they will be required to demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and experience to take the module. Course content

CASS is a programme of short courses in applied social surveys run by the Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute (S3RI), which forms part of the ESRC National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM). CASS is continuing the successful programme established in 1995 by the Centre for Applied Social Surveys, an ESRC resource centre.The courses cover topics in survey design and implementation, survey sampling, data collection and data analysis methods.
