Entry requirements

General admissions requirements of the programme are as follows: A second class honours degree in any subject, or students holding a qualification recognised as graduate equivalent by the University. Candidates without a first degree can be admitted to the programme provided they have at least two years managerial experience, at an appropriate level.This will also be subject to interview with the Programme Leader.

The MBA programme is designed to develop effective, practical management expertise whilst engaging with postgraduate study skills. It therefore addresses the needs of aspiring managers or business-owners who require formal development of management and leadership skills. Our experienced, practitioner-focused teaching staff will provide you with the latest thinking and developments in business management, while the variety and content of modules ensures that both academic and vocational perspectives are considered.

The MBA programme covers a broad range of management and leadership disciplines such as marketing management, financial management, leadership, strategic management, enterprise, research methods and an independent study, which can be related to a field of interest and/or support career aspirations. If studying part time you will attend two consecutive workshop days
per month on a Thursday and Friday or Friday and Saturday over a two year period .
