Entry requirements

A minimum of a second-class Honours degree (2.1 preferred) or equivalent. Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant, appropriate or relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply. IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent.

Course content

The MSc in International Business and Finance provides an in-depth understanding of how international business is conducted in the international arena. Designed for students who wish to establish a career in business or finance, this programme will allow you to gain the skills and theoretical knowledge to succeed.

The programme incorporates new aspects of international business competencies. It is an innovative, rigorous and challenging programme that will give you a comprehensive grounding in the theoretical and empirical knowledge of international business.

The syllabus is designed to allow you to gain managerial skills to meet the challenges you will face in the global workplace.

If you have completed an undergraduate degree and are looking to further develop and specialise your subject knowledge, then a postgraduate Master's degree is for you. This challenging programme is for international students who wish to establish and sustain a career in business or the finance sector.

Over the summer period (term 3) you are required to carry out a significant piece of academic work, using the skills and knowledge gained throughout the programme. This culminates in the submission of a written dissertation.
