Entry requirements

You're required to be currently working in an educational setting with learners who use more than one language in their everyday lives.

You should have a relevant degree, or equivalent, and, normally, a teaching qualification. You may also be asked to demonstrate your ability to work at postgraduate level.

Course content

This course is designed to provide outstanding opportunities for teachers to develop their professional knowledge and practice to support bilingual learners in the mainstream classroom.

It’s open to qualified teachers as well as allied professional workers such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists.

It is in line with the most current developments in research, practice, policy and legislation, promoting innovative approaches to curriculum design and delivery for bilingual learners.
