Entry requirements

You must be a practising educational psychologist during the period in which you plan to undertake the DEdPsy programme. Your application must be supported by the Principal Educational Psychologist of the service in which you work.

Course content

The aim of the Doctorate in Educational Psychology (DEdPsy) is to provide Continuing Professional Development for practising educational psychologists. It is intended to encourage the development of Research skills in design, data collection, and data analysis; Critical, academic understanding of current advances in theory and practice within a specialist area of professional expertise; Reflective and innovative ecological-systemic professional practice that is evidence-based.

Interactive learning; developmental and educational psychology; road user behaviour; applied social psychology; cognitive neuropsychology.
