Entry requirements

  • Applicants must hold at least a 2:2 in a science based subject or a 2:1 for any other subject area
  • Completion of RPEL portfolio evidencing 750 hours of experience working/volunteering in a health/social care setting within the past 5 years (to meet NMC requirements within the accelerated programme).
  • Applicants are required to hold five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above to include Mathematics and English (or equivalent)

Course content

This accelerated course aims to prepare existing graduates for an exciting and rewarding career as a Registered Nurse (Adult). You will undertake a range of theory modules across the 2-year programme, complemented by clinical practice placements to allow you to develop the skills, knowledge and experience required by nurses delivering healthcare across a wide range of clinical settings.

On successful completion of this accelerated nursing course. you will be eligible to register your qualifcation with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and practise as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
