Strategic People Management
Entry requirements
- Postgraduate entry - A 2:2 minimum classification or equivalent from undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, or three years’ experience at managerial or professional level.
- All applicants are required to hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
- MSc entry - A postgraduate qualification in either Human Resource Management or a Business or Management specialism such as PgD in Human Resource Management.
- Candidates who completed the CIPD professional education scheme prior to 2004 may also be required to undertake an additional module.
- All applicants are required to hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.

The programme offers skilfully crafted modules that underpin learners understanding of the psychological make-up of employees (including workers), how to effectively recruit highly skilled people, motivate, retain, and develop them while keeping them satisfied enough to leverage their skills in developing sustainable competitive advantage within organisations.
The course is delivered by a team of highly experienced professionals and academics who are mostly members and fellows of the CIPD, and you will have leading guest practitioners occasionally invited to enrich and consolidate your learning on the programme.
Information for international students
- IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) where English is not the students' first language, or A B2/C1 in the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR).
- Tier 4 international students are not able to register on this course however we welcome interest from international students not wishing to apply for Tier 4.
