Course overview

Half of the CEOs at Britain’s top 100 companies have a background in accounting or finance. This specialised Masters, which provides in-depth knowledge of key finance and management concepts, offers a powerful boost to your future career progression.

Throughout the course you will apply up-to-date theories and knowledge to current situations. We welcome applications both from new graduates and from those already in employment who want to develop themselves for high-level opportunities.

The finance modules cover financial control, financial statements and financial markets. The management modules cover cross cultural management, global corporate strategy and training in leadership. Your Masters dissertation will focus on a topic that you negotiate with your tutor, based on your career aspirations and our areas of expertise.

During the course we encourage collaborative working through Peer Action Learning Sets. As a member of a Learning Set you will share practical and academic experiences and reflect critically on case studies, debates and problems.

By the end of the course you will have the intellectual tools and knowledge to tackle real-world issues within the financial sector or within financial departments of organisations. Our aim is to enhance your success in challenging management roles that carry above-average responsibility and salaries.
