Undergraduate degree with a classification of 2:2 or above, in a non-computing discipline.
Months of entry
This course is particularly aimed at people whose first degree is not related to computing but who now want to move into the IT industry. Computing offers excellent career opportunities and salaries that are significantly higher than the national average.
Our supportive tutors will guide you through topics that are in-demand among employers, including software development, networks, database systems and web development. You will explore the foundations of computer science as well as the basic architecture of a modern-day computer system.
Your studies will culminate in a Masters-level project in designing and implementing IT systems. The project, which may well be sponsored by an external client, will demonstrate your ability to add commercial value. We encourage you to find your own sponsor/client so that you build up a valuable network of contacts and boost your employability.
