Course content

Our Masters in Information Systems addresses recent advances in IT, the internet, web technologies, and business applications, to explore how information systems can increase productivity, improve decision-making and lead to a significant competitive advantage.

This programme aims to prepare students for a successful career in the IT sector, even if they do not have a prior degree in computer science. It also enables students who have studied computer science previously to expand their knowledge and acquire further skills across a broader range of computer science topics.

Taught modules address mobile and cloud computing, big data and database systems, and the importance of information security, in relation to the foundational information systems principles. This programme will equip you with professional skills that will allow you to work as an IT consultant/manager, system architect/analyst, or software developer in any industry field that heavily relies on software and information technology.
