Entry requirements
A minimum 2.2 in a UK honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Physics or a related discipline.
Relevant industrial experience may also be considered.

Mobile telephony is reaching saturation in the world’s most technologically advanced countries and is rapidly becoming the main telecommunications infrastructure in the rest of the world.
This MSc programme will give you a thorough understanding of the engineering aspects of this rapidly developing field, as well as new emerging systems for the support of broadband mobile internet.
We’re home to the world’s largest academic research group specialising in 5G communications, with founding members including the UK’s major mobile operators, so you’ll be exposed to the state-of- the-art in communications and benefit from modules focused on current 4G and future 5G technologies.
