Course content

Air transport is intrinsically linked to global economic prosperity. Before the pandemic, more than four billion people travelled by air annually and air travel grew at over five per cent a year. Our Air Transport Management MSc will provide you with the knowledge at the cutting-edge of this discipline. It will equip you with the multiple skills and expertise that are required to succeed in the ever-evolving business of air transport.

You’ll benefit from our pioneering research and analysis, as well as our unique proximity to Heathrow and Gatwick airports, that serve over 120 global airlines. This has allowed us to develop outstanding links with the industry, generating numerous guest speakers who deliver engaging and stimulating lectures.

This is the only air transport management course in the UK that will allow you the opportunity of using all three commercial software packages used by airlines and airports today, including: OAG, MIDT (Sabre) and Cirium (Flightglobal). These tools are essential for analysing airline data and will give you a competitive edge with employers.
