Months of entry
As business environments become increasingly complex, strong leadership is ever more vital. Business leaders need to be equipped with a multi-faceted array of skills to be able to respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities presented by today's uncertain business world.
Our new Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Management is designed to enhance and develop your knowledge and skills in this area, by giving you a critical understanding of some of the contemporary theory, practice and research in this field and then challenging you to demonstrate originality in the way you lead and manage your teams and organisations.
It will be of significant value to you, whether you are already working in a leadership or management position, or seeking to take your career along that path.
Learning from, and through, experience
The course has a strong practical bias, so the leadership and management theories are taught in relation to the experiences of the participants on the programme. We use students' own case studies to enrich the classroom experience and encourage debate as well as drawing on the experiences of our tutors, who are all accomplished practitioners themselves.
The skills to lead and succeed
You will develop the transferable skills that are vital to be a successful leader or manager today from creative problem solving, to understanding interpersonal dynamics at work, to leading with a strong sense of social responsibility. You will also develop valuable self-reflection skills that you can take with you, as you develop and progress as a successful leadership practitioner.
Flexible learning options
We offer two different options as Postgraduate Certificates in Leadership and Management: this course, which focuses on your leadership and managerial development in general, and Postgarduate Certificate Leadership and Management (Coaching and Mentoring), where we include a focus on coaching and mentoring.
