Course content
The Graduate Certificate in Professional Learning is a portfolio of modules focussed on school improvement designed to provide professional development for practising teachers. In order to gain the Graduate Certificate, students are required to study and pass three modules.
The content of the programme has been developed in close partnership with schools and local authorities to reflect Welsh Government education policy developments such as Qualified for Life, the Donaldson Report and Rewriting the Future. All modules are mapped against the National Leadership Standards and provide a solid foundation for progression to senior leadership roles as well as offering Masters level accreditation in line with Welsh Government aspirations for teachers.
