Entry requirements

The traditional requirement for entry onto a Level 7 programme is a 2.1 or 1st class undergraduate degree. In addition, the School encourages students with an equivalent and appropriate professional qualification or significant and relevant professional experience to apply.

Course content

The Postgraduate Diploma in Ancient Greek provides a self-contained period of structured but challenging study for anyone who wishes to pursue their interest in the the Ancient Greek language and literature.

These programmes offer students the opportunity to focus exclusively on the acquisition and/or development of a classical language and can be started at beginners, intermediate or advanced level depending on their linguistic ability.

The programme will enable you to learn Ancient greek from absolute beginner up to A Level standard and will prepare you for further study in the field of classics.
