Course content

The module is multidisciplinary and will be of interest to those wishing to gain a greater depth of understanding of palliative care in non-cancer diagnosis.

The module will appeal particularly to GPs, specialists in palliative medicine, trainees in medical specialities, community nurses, clinical nurse specialists in palliative care, hospice clinical staff and any other health professionals with an interest in learning about this important area.

We will also consider the continuum of palliative care with medicine for the elderly, psychogeriatrics, social aspects of palliative care in non-malignant disease and perspectives from primary and community care.
