A 1st or 2nd class honours degree (2.1 and 2.2, upper and lower class) in any discipline Other relevant qualification at level 6 If you are an HR practitioner with at least five years’ experience, but without the above qualifications, we will assess your application through an interview and essay.

Course content

Our MA in Managing Human Resources is a specialist Masters degree accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Taught by experienced professionals for over 40 years at the University, this course has developed a strong reputation for proven expertise and advancement for human resource managers and advisers, in the UK and internationally.

During the course you will learn how to take a critical perspective on current theory and practice, to analyse complex human resource management (HRM) problems, and to devise creative solutions to them.
