Months of entry
This work-based course is ideal if you are working primarily as an instrumentalist or conductor in the music industry. Attendance is limited to three lecture days a year – the remaining tuition is through one-to-one tutorials. Students arrange one to one tuition at a mutually convenient date and time with their instructor; there are no set instruction days.
The course gives you skills and information that helps you develop a career in today’s music industry. We make provision for your professional work to form part of the assessment process, particularly when it comes to practical components.
The course is structured to meet a professional performing musician’s needs. It furthers your development of advanced, technically assured and artistically informed performance skills, together with more narrowly defined skills that relate to – and arise directly from – each area of specialist work.
