You need an Honours degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline or an overseas equivalent. Alternatively, an Honours degree and substantial relevant work experience at an appropriate level.

Course content

The course has a high degree of relevance to industry's need for "hands on" Database professionals. The course provides skills relevant to the modelling, design and management of data, and the management and administration of Corporate Information Systems divisions and Information Data Centres. The course provides hands on experience of Oracle technologies. The course is aimed at graduates in a relevant field who wish to specialise in the field of Database Systems and at practitioners who want to enhance their professional abilities, update their technical skills and/or deepen their knowledge/understanding of state of the art and emerging data technologies.
