Students must have a good first degree/professional qualification or hold a HND with at least 2 years' relevant experience. Students without formal qualifications but with at least 5 years' experience may also be considered. The application deadline for September entry for this course is the 1st September.

Stepping into Management, our flexible part-time routes allow you to pace your studies through our Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma into a full Masters in Management. Each award represents a step in your management development that allows you to balance your professional and personal commitments.

The programme is designed to develop the general management skills and abilities you need in the rapidly changing economic environment. As well as giving you the underpinning knowledge and understanding required to operate effectively in a managerial role, the course will develop your analysis, problem-solving and proactive-thinking skills. As the course progresses, the emphasis evolves from operation to strategy.

The Certificate consists of a set of three specific modules taken over a single year.
