Course content
The Creative Practice MRes is a Masters level course, which takes full advantage of the rich culture of practice-based research in art, architecture, design and media based in the University of Westminster's School of Arts and College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries.
Over one year full-time or two years part-time, you will develop your own art, media or design practice, supported by an exciting programme of seminars, group discussion, specialist advice and supervision, to complete a major research project related to your creative practice. Your time on the MRes will culminate in an exhibition or screening presentation and a written reflection on your research.
The Creative Practice MRes is an ideal stepping stone to further practice-based PhD research, as well as a unique opportunity to realise an ambitious creative project with the support of research-led practitioners across the field of the arts and media, as part of the internationally renowned Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media (CREAM) – the UK’s top-rated general art and design research centre.
