Entry requirements

You will have a minimum Second Class Honours degree in a cognate subject area such as construction, surveying, architecture or civil engineering, and be employed in a professional or managerial capacity in a construction-related post. However, applicants from all backgrounds and levels of experience can apply. Alternatively, applicants may hold membership of a recognised construction-related professional body achieved through examinations and/or professional interview, together with experience in a professional or managerial capacity in a construction-related post. Such applicants will be interviewed prior to admission and will be expected to demonstrate the commitment and intellectual capacity to study at postgraduate level.

Course content

Facilities Management is a well established technique within the property industry, utilized on properties of varying size and levels of complexity. Facilities and Property Managers utilize modern management techniques to successfully maintain and increase the value of the investment, after completion of a new project or after a new property has been acquired.
This course is aimed at graduates (ideally already in property related employment) who aspire to professional and/or senior positions in the field of property management. The programme aims to provide a challenging and professionally relevant course which is directly related to the management of real estate.

Information for international students

Applicants whose first language is not English should demonstrate English language ability to the level of an IELTS score of 6.5. Students taking other language qualifications should contact the University.
