For the MSc award, we normally require an Honours degree in any subject Students without a sufficient background in computing will be required to take, as part of their programme, one or more specialist induction modules Students with a background in computing will have a greater choice of modules

This exciting course responds to the demand for graduates with media technology knowledge alongside practical skills in writing software
Multimedia Technology combines modern computer hardware with appropriate software-authoring tools to produce products applicable to educational, entertainment, commercial and industrial settings
The course covers hardware/software technologies and standards, generating and interpreting sound, graphical user interfaces, video and camera formats, communication on the Internet, and the acquisition of practical skills for designing and building multimedia solutions
It provides opportunities for using VB.Net, scripting approaches such as Director and Flash, and for integrating your skills in a substantial multimedia project
