Entry requirements

You should have at least a 2:1 degree in a relevant subject such as management, finance, environmental science or geography. If you have a 2:2 degree in a relevant subject as well as additional experience, such as work in environmental management, then we will also welcome your application. You'll need a good level of mathematical or statistical ability in order to follow the quantitative and financial modules: you can demonstrate this with an element of economics, accounting or finance in your degree.

Course content

Both Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Management are increasingly important for a wide range of organisations. This specialist Masters provides the practical research skills and management background for you to work in these areas.

You'll examine theory, evidence and practice in Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Management as well as the governance, assessment and practical resolution of environmental problems. You will combine the study of scientific, legal, policy and risks associated with sustainability with accounting, ethical and organisation aspects of business.

Our teaching and research span the natural social and economic sciences in an integrated way. Postgraduate teaching is informed by our research which includes work in areas as diverse as ethical marketing, social enterprises, tropical rain forests, pollution, biodiversity conservation and wildlife management.
