Aspiring to make a valuable contribution to modern healthcare, you will be caring and compassionate and committed to making a real difference to people’s lives. You will normally possess a 2:1 honours degree in a health related subject and GCSEs in Maths, English and Science (grade A*-C). You will normally be able to demonstrate 600 hours of healthcare related experience. This may include experience of healthcare support work, voluntary work overseas, befriending older people and charity work (e.g. with Age UK, Shelter, St Johns Ambulance). If you are a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability. You need to show enough fluency in all aspects of English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to the required level of the course you're applying to.
Months of entry
The Postgraduate Diploma is a two year, full time programme for graduate entrants, which leads to a Postgraduate Diploma with Professional Registration in Nursing (Adult).
