Course content

The Future Generations Act (Wales) 2015 has changed the way public services work. It places an obligation on them to ensure that when making their decisions they take into account the impact they could have on people living their lives in Wales in the future.

Combined with increasing and continuing pressure on resources, this calls for a new kind of public leadership and a new course to prepare our current and future public leaders.

Created with organisations across the public, private and third sectors, Wrexham Glyndŵr University’s BA (Hons) in Public Service Leadership is the only course of its kind in Wales. It will equip students with the skills, mind-set and relationships needed to tackle long-term challenges and work toward achieving the Act’s seven well-being goals.
