Course contentTo introduce students to the complex nature of environmental problems and to provide them with multi-disciplinary tools of analysis in relation to those problems. To develop students' understanding of the fundamental concepts of conservation management and environmental science, and enhance their critical ability to integrate cross-disciplinary analyses of environmental problems. To evaluate critically complex scientific and policy-based issues involved in the conservation management of species and ecosystems To encourage students to develop the environmental, scientific and policy knowledge necessary for a career in environmental sciences/conservation management in the academic, voluntary, public and private sectors.
Information for international students
An IELTS score of 6.5 is required. There are a range of pre-sessional English language programmes available with further English support classes during term time.
