You may apply if you have an honours degree in an appropriate discipline. You will be accepted onto the programme following a satisfactory interview, references and evidence of qualifications. If you don’t have these academic qualifications you may qualify for entry based on other equivalent relevant qualifications or experience. International applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate that they possess sufficient competence in written and spoken English to succeed in the programme of study. This will normally be demonstrated by an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with not less than 5.5 in each section.

Our MA Education: Research-engaged Setting is an innovative programme which offers you the opportunity to explore the links between theory, policy and practice in education. Throughout the course you will develop your knowledge based on a wide range of critical perspectives and will be supported by experienced researchers in examining your particular interest in your own research-engaged setting.
Information for international students
International students will need to demonstrate that they have equivalent experience /qualifications as home students (ie same entry criteria as above). If their first language is not English they must show evidence of English Language competence at IELTS level 6.0 (in all areas of the test) or equivalent.
