Course content

This MA should enhance your own employability within the education sector and help to contribute to educational improvement in the workplace. It is designed to reflect the changing needs of schools and other educational settings. The programme, learning outcomes and modules haved been aligned where appropriate with the National Standards of Excellence for Headteachers (DFE 2015) and have been designed for students and professionals wishing to pursue personal and professional development opportunities and qualifications.

This programme engages you with legislative, practical and theoretical aspects of school leadership and management, supporting you in the development of cricial awareness and understanding of key issues in this area. You will learn collaboratively with opportunities to reflect on current practice, including your own and that of others, in order to better understand pertinent underlying values, beliefs and principles.
