Opportunities can arise within any organisation that makes use of computerised databases. These include organisations in the public sector, such as local and central government, colleges and the National Health Service (NHS), as well as those in the private and not-for-profit sectors. Examples of private companies include banks, financial organisations, retail and insurance companies.
