As an MBDA Graduate you will follow a professional development programme consisting of four, six month placements, three of them internal to your specialist business area and one external. The external placement could be another business area within MBDA or it could be with one of our external partners or customers which will broaden your knowledge and experience whilst on the scheme.

We have Summer placements, undergraduate and graduate roles available. Graduates should be qualified to degree level (minimum 2:2 honours degree) in business studies/management, aeronautical, aerospace, aero systems engineering, electrical, mechanical, computer science, software engineering, information technology, systems engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar.
Applicants should be:
- Adaptable approach: – capable of focusing on both domestic and export needs, taking into consideration existing constraints in design proposals.
- Team player: - capable of working with others from various disciplines to reach a consensus agreement.
- Pro-active / self-starter.
- An ability to use their enthusiasm and drive to work autonomously and efficiently to influence team members and other stakeholders in producing technical outputs of good quality in a timely manner
We have a wide range of business and technical roles available ranging from human factors, design/integration systems and validation, synthetic environments, war heads, manufacturing, mechanical/electrical engineering, seekers, simulation and modelling, finance, supply chain, business management, procurement.
You will be provided with plenty of on the job training; in addition graduates will attend a one week residential course in Wales focusing on the softer skills used in your day to day professional career including; communication, negotiation, problem solving, presenting, influencing, teamwork and leadership skills.
MBDA fully supports Chartership and will pay 100% of the fees during your two year programme and 50% thereafter.
