About the Role
Based in Sydney, you’ll support exploration activities across New South Wales and the Northern Territory, helping identify and evaluate new critical mineral deposits. You’ll be involved in both field and operational work; from geological mapping and sampling programs through to data interpretation, land access coordination, and exploration planning. The role includes extensive fieldwork in remote areas of Australia, including camping on-site for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct geological field activities including:
- Geological mapping
- Soil and rock sampling
- Geophysical surveys
- Data collection and interpretation
Other responsibilities:
- Assist with exploration targeting and program planning
- Maintain high-quality geological and QAQC standards
- Support land access activities, approvals, and stakeholder engagement
- Work collaboratively with geologists, engineers, and field contractors
- Promote strong safety standards and operational excellence
- Contribute directly to active critical mineral discovery projects

What we are looking for
- Degree in Geology or related Earth Sciences discipline
- 0–3 years’ experience in mineral exploration or field geology
- Strong interest in field-based exploration work
- Comfortable working outdoors and in remote environments
- Understanding of geological systems and exploration techniques
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Willing to relocate to Sydney, Australia
- Available to start in the near term
